Frequently asked Questions about Uvex Livewire™ Sealed Safety Eyewear

Can I Easily Interchange Temple Rails/Arms and Straps on My Uvex Livewire Sealed Eyewear

A major benefit of  Uvex Livewire sealed eyewear is the interchangeable temple rails/arms and straps. Simply look for the C-shaped opening. Small plastic pins connect to this opening and firmly secure your strap and temple rails/arms to your eyewear.

Once you remove the old band, press and remove it from your sealed eyewear. Line up your new band and carefully look to ensure the plastic pins are pressed into the correct areas of the C-shaped openings. When correctly installed, the temple rails/arms should click into place firmly. Adjust your new strap to ensure it’s comfortable and ready for any situation.

How Can I Remove the Foam Padding on Uvex Livewire Sealed Eyewear?

Your Uvex Livewire safety glasses comes with comfortable foam padding designed for long-term use. However, over time your padding may wear away or become damaged. In order to keep the padding secure, it isn’t designed to be removed. This helps it offer a sealed, snug fit while staying comfortable.

Thankfully, you have a few options for cleaning and maintaining your Uvex sealed eyewear. The foam padding can be gently wiped down while still attached to your eyewear. If the padding needs to be replaced, gently scrape it off your eyewear. Wipe it thoroughly to ensure the padding is completely removed before wearing your Livewire sealed eyewear again.

What Are the Advantages to Choosing Uvex Livewire Sealed Eyewear?

Few pieces of safety gear protect you like Uvex Livewire™ sealed eyewear. The snug, sealed fit offers uncompromising performance in a variety of conditions. Completely protect your eyes from dirt, debris, wind, sun and other environmental factors as you work or play in any condition.

Carefully adjust the straps to enjoy a confident fit. Unlike traditional safety glasses, Uvex Livewire sealed eyewear protects your eyes at all angles and won’t fall off as you run, crawl, lean or perform any strenuous activity. The anti-fog Uvextreme Plus coating keeps your vision clear despite the temperature and humidity, and ANSIZ87.1+ certification protects your eyes from sudden impacts.
